The ITBA have just launched a detailed report entitled Analysis of the economic impact of the Irish Thoroughbred Horse Industry. This report was prepared and researched under the guidance and direction of Alan Dukes and commissioned by the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association, with Joe Foley (Chairman ITBA) and Shane O’Dwyer (Manager ITBA) and Roderick Ryan (consultant) providing industry expertise and support.

In the words of Alan Dukes in his Executive Summary: ‘The conclusion of this analysis is abundantly clear: a relatively modest amount of State funding has been very successfully leveraged by the industry to produce a strong dynamic impulsion. This compares very favourably with the returns from much higher levels of support to other areas of economic activity. Government funding must remain to ensure survival of this very successful industry and to continue its growth into the future as one of Ireland’s most dynamic agricultural sectors.’
We designed the entire report which was turned around (including printing time) in less than a week. Many thanks to Warrick Bowden at Character Print Solutions! For more ITBA work, click here.
