The thoroughbred stallion Power Blade is now standing at Harthill Stud near Chester, alongside Honour Cruise, an Irish Sport Horse by Cruising.
Power Blade is a proven sire, with progeny competing at the highest levels in showjumping, eventing and in the show ring. Honour Cruise will be campaigned this year by Badminton and Burghley winner Oliver Townend. Hopefully both will have a successful season. We designed these stud cards and folder and they were delivered today.
This week is all about finishing off what we can before Christmas. Lots of cards! Looking forward to the break and then starting off in the new year busy again.
Delivered this week were two very smart brochures for Bluegrass Horse Feeds, one for their Racing & Stud Range and the other for the Sport & Leisure Range.
Along with standard product listings, both brochures are packed with facts on each feed: nutritional analysis, ingredients, comparitive energy release speeds, etc. making the choice of the most suitable feed much easier than before. We also updated the logo, giving it a cleaner, more up to date look.
The mares from Tinnakill House selling at Goffs today include Listed winner Karmifira, dam of Gr.1 Prix Marcel Boussac runner-up On Verra, who is in foal to Sea The Stars. Makes the advertising easy, especially on the back of Casamento’s win in the Racing Post Trophy earlier this year.
It’s always a milestone when a stallion’s first foals get to the sales and since we’ve been working on the promotion of Papal Bull since his retirement to stud, we feel quite involved!

On Sunday, Ireland won its first ever World Breeding Championship, with Clem McMahon claiming victory at Lanaken in Belgium with the Irish-bred stallion NLS Coole Al Clover.
The Irish combination triumphed over 248 starters to bring home the gold medal to Ireland. Little did we know when we put together this booklet listing all the horses competing at the event!
Great to hear that along with their new Select Point to Point Sale, Tattersalls Ireland will also hold a new Flat Breeze Up Sale in 2011.
